Starlink internet service to stop operating in the Dutch Caribbean | News

The Netherlands Digital Infrastructure Agency has confirmed that Starlink satellite antennas are now operational in the Dutch Caribbean. However, Starlink does not currently have a concession to provide internet services under the Telecommunications Act BES.

Owning such a satellite dish is not prohibited. However, as long as Starlink does not have a special license, using Starlink’s Internet service is not allowed.

Starlink recently notified consumers in the Dutch Caribbean of unauthorized use of Starlink devices and violations of its user terms of service. As a result, Starlink will be discontinuing internet service.
