Abstract
This article explores Mamfakinch, a citizen media collective that covered a wide range of issues in Morocco. The group excelled at compiling information and disseminating critical news, leading to diversification of the state-dominated media landscape. Despite its influence, Mamfakinch was short-lived, allowing the government to reassert its dominance over citizen media. However, the group’s legacy demonstrates the impact of youth digital culture and its power to mobilize, demand accountability, and command change.
