The Netherlands Embassy in Tehran and the Consulate General in Erbil will reopen to the public on Tuesday, April 16. The two embassies and consulates were closed on April 14 and 15 as a precautionary measure due to tensions between Iran and Israel.
We will continue to monitor the security situation at embassies closely and it is possible that they may be closed again in the future. For obvious reasons, the Foreign Office cannot comment on security measures.
Now that the missions have reopened to the public, they can once again provide consular services. Those who had to cancel their appointments due to the temporary closure will be contacted to reschedule their appointments.
