Renowned showman Tonito Gaona noted that there has been a major shift in the preferences for current fairs and exhibitions. He said that today, in events as emblematic as the Mariano Roque Alonso Expo 2024, influencers have surpassed the traditional model.

“Models are already there, before it was just showing your body, now you have to have depth, if you don’t have depth it will show in the posts on social networks, even more so at the Expo”Tonito said this is becoming more and more common.

This statement comes after noting the growing presence of various influencers at Expoferia, models who were once the undisputed stars of the stands of the Paraguayan Rural Association (ARP) that hosts the current events.

The Mariano Roque Alonso Fair has for years been the showcase for the country’s most famous models, who adorned the stands with their presence and charm. However, the trends have changed. Organizers and brands are now looking for personalities who are more connected to the public through social networks, able to produce attractive content and keep their followers interested.

This change reflects the evolution of marketing and promotional strategies, where the depth and ability to generate relevant and engaging content have become essential. While traditional models adapt to this new reality, influencers continue to make inroads, redefining the dynamics of social and commercial activity in Paraguay.
