Visitors should be aware that calling rates on Norfolk Island are often different and may be higher than those charged in Australia and other Pacific countries.

To call Australia from Norfolk Island, dial the international code 0011 61 followed by the required number, for example 0011 617 3312 3456 (landline) or 0011 614 123 456 (mobile). If loved ones wish to contact visitors to Norfolk Island from Australia, they will need to dial the international code 0011 6723 followed by the required number, for example 0011 6723 21234 (landline) or 0011 6723 51234 (mobile).
Fun fact – when calling Australia from Norfolk Island, the call appears to be coming from Antarctica as we use the same international code!
