Digital CX agency Rogerwilco has announced three senior management appointments.
Dallas Du Toit
Creative industry veteran Dallas Du Toit Joining Rogerwilco as Co-Creative Director, working alongside current Creative Director Wilton Ackeer, Du Toit joins Rogerwilco directly from Mark1 where he was involved in creating a morphing programmatic Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) campaign for RE/MAX. This was not only an industry first, but also a world first, allowing life-like images to emerge from the billboard screen.
Du Toit’s love affair with digital media began in 2005 when he joined Gloo, South Africa’s original digital agency, leaving the company 10 years later as Executive Creative Director.
Adolf Ratgen
Adolf Ratgen The appointment reflects the agency’s focus on its digital infrastructure, including building out its AI business (supported by the recent appointment of Dominic Anschutz, Microsoft’s director of datacenter strategy for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as a non-executive director of the company’s UK board), while investing in broader development and data security capabilities.
Lategan began working in web development in 2011 and has been honing his skills at Rogerwilco for the past six years. As a technology professional, he holds an honors degree in marketing, which gives him a unique perspective on the role of technology in marketing.
Jane Holland
Jane Holland has returned to Rogerwilco to succeed Lategan as Head of Development. She worked at the agency between 2019 and 2022. With over 15 years of experience, she is particularly skilled in PHP, mainly working with the Drupal content management system. Her experience comes from building projects in other PHP frameworks and CMS such as Laravel, WordPress and Magento.
Holland’s past experience includes work at Mirum, JWT and most recently Swiss media group Ringier.
Rogerwilco CEO Charlie Stewart said doubling down on creative management and strengthening its technology capabilities has enabled the agency to perfect the marriage of creativity and technology.
“We will be making additional senior appointments. The rapid pace of digital transformation across business means our experiences are in high demand. Consumer demand for elegant online experiences is greater than ever and we remain a leader in this area.”
Stewart said the new hires also demonstrate optimism about South Africa’s future. “We anticipate economic growth after the elections and we are effectively preparing the agency for the future so that we can continue to serve the market with innovative and successful digital solutions.”
