One Club for Creativity has released its 2024 global ranking of creative schools, with South Africa’s Red and Yellow Creative Business School among the top schools, based on a recent Young Student Award.

Brigham Young University-Provo has been named a 2024 School of the Year based on the cumulative scores of all awards earned by the school’s students this year.

The rankings are based on the results of the recent Young Ones Student Awards 2024 competition, one of the world’s most acclaimed student competitions for advertising, digital communications, design and typography. The program offers four separate competitions:
- Young Ones ADC, which offers students the opportunity to win an ADC cube by competing in many of the same disciplines and categories as the prestigious ADC annual awards;
- the young people’s ‘One Show Brief’ competition, which asks a team of students to create work for a specific client for the chance to win a coveted ‘One Show Pencil’;
- A Young People’s Portfolio Competition, where students can submit up to six projects and have their work judged by industry professionals for representativeness;
- Young Ones TDC, students involved in typography, typeface and font design can earn a certificate of excellence in typography from the Type Instructor Club, which is part of the One Creativity Club.

Revenue generated from entries to its global awards ceremony will be fed back into the industry to fund projects under the organisation’s four pillars: Education, Inclusion and Diversity, Gender Equality and Creative Development.
