The 65th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) was held yesterday (Sunday, July 7) in Abuja, chaired by the current President of Nigeria, Mr. Bola Tinubu. The agenda for the day covered sub-regional security, integration issues and the situation in the three countries of the sub-regional organization Alliance for the Sahel (AES).
