Two young women will be brought to the Fort-de-France prosecutor’s office in the coming hours after they handed themselves in to police following the violent stabbing of an SIAO employee.
According to the latest information reported by the medical team, the health of the general reception and orientation service staff is improving.
The woman was following the social placement files of two women who were stabbed several times on Tuesday afternoon.
The two suspects, aged in their twenties and thirties, went to the Redoute gendarmerie in Fort-de-France that evening and will be taken to the Fort-de-France prosecutor’s office in the next few hours.
After they had lived in their car for several months, SIAO followed them as part of their resettlement.
The SIAO office will be closed until Monday, while the psychology department remains available to support staff.
