Martinique, more than 150 kg of drugs found at sea

The Antilles Armed Forces conducted a great operation last weekend.

Off the coast of Barbados, soldiers on the “Germinal” chased a vessel called the “Go Fast” with seven people on board, which, after seeing the boat, threw several packages of drugs into the sea.

Authorities seized nearly 124 kilograms of cocaine and 33 kilograms of marijuana, the boat was intercepted and seven drug trafficking suspects were detained.

The seizure brings the amount of drugs seized in the state since the beginning of the year to more than a tonne.
