Two young men were detained before trial in connection with a case in which they knocked down two cyclists on the road on March 5.

A judicial investigation was launched, in which two men were charged and placed in pretrial detention at the Dukos Prison Center.
They are suspected of knocking down a gendarmerie cyclist on March 5 on the highway near the Petite-Cocotte roundabout in Ducos.
The soldiers asked three people who were riding a motorcycle and not wearing helmets to stop and they were violently beaten by them before running away.
The gendarmerie cyclist was seriously injured and remains under arrest, and the investigation into the case is ongoing.
