Last weekend, a 25-year-old motorcyclist died in Sainte-Luce, bringing the death toll on our roads to five since the beginning of the year.

The carnage on police roads continues and cyclists are paying a heavy price, to say the least.
In fact, he is the fifth two-wheeler driver to lose his life in a month in the recent accident.
On Sunday evening, shortly before 7pm, he was trying to overtake on the Sainte-Luce road in the direction of Fort-de-France when he hit a car in front of him.
Speed may have been a factor in this tragedy, otherwise the victim would have died instantly.
