Mhlangu has extensive experience and expertise in news reporting and content creation.
She is the founder and managing director of content consultancy MInsight Content Creation. She is the convenor of the Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards jury. Previously, she was editor-in-chief of eNCA.
With a deep understanding of journalism, its challenges and its role in society, she completed an MBA thesis focusing on the five largest private traditional news media groups on the African continent.
Her research explores the strategies these organizations use to attract funding from both commercial and non-commercial sources, revealing key industry challenges and opportunities.
