According to a statement released by the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health, Minister Beshenaliev visited Bishkek from the Liver Transplantation Institute of the Turgut Ozal Medical Center of Inonu University and met with the team involved in the liver transplant.
Beishenaliyev presented the Ministry of Health’s Medal for Excellence in Healthcare to Deputy Director of the Liver Transplantation Institute Docent Volkan Inja, Chief Surgeon Docent Kemal Barysh Saryja, Anesthesiologist Duygu Demiroza, and nurses Emine Eri and Eje Tashtana.
Beshenaliev stressed the importance of cooperation with Turkish experts who have extensive experience in liver transplantation and expressed gratitude to Turkish doctors.
Minister Beshenaliev said the operation was an important step in the country’s medical field and was also of great significance for patients in need of liver transplants.
The Kyrgyz minister stressed that such operations, which are performed free of charge at the Kyrgyz-Turkish National Friendship Hospital, will continue.
