Between April and June 2024, the Manx Care Advisory and Liaison Service (MCALS) will reduce staffing levels and make minor changes to its call hours and community drop-in services.
During this period, MCALS will operate from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (except public holidays).
From May 2024, there will be less activity in the community, but there will still be some temporary events, details of which will be announced next month.
All emails and voice messages sent outside of these hours will still be received on the next business day.
MCALS has recently relocated its premises (to Garaghyn Glass, next to the Occupational Health Department at the Noble site) with the aim of opening a public counter facility in the summer and offering both face to face and virtual appointments. At this new location the team are able to offer quiet room facilities which will help them work with our third sector partners to provide the best support for service users, carers and families in a joined up approach.
