Ireland has established Our shared ocean This is a multi-year programme that supports research, knowledge exchange and capacity building in partnership with Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
The programme is funded by Irish Aid (Ireland’s overseas development programme) and administered by the Marine Institute of Ireland. To support participation in Our Shared Ocean, funding is available through competitive application for: mobility and travel grants; Masters and postdoctoral fellowships; and research.
