DNRE launched the Happiness Invoice a few days ago. The idea is to award prizes to taxpayer consumers as an incentive for tax citizens, not to avoid tax evasion.
In order to participate in the competition, citizens/taxpayers must request an invoice or equivalent (valid) document when purchasing/obtaining services or products.
The raffle is held in conjunction with the National Totoloto (monthly) and the prizes range from simple shopping vouchers to an apartment in the Casa Para Todos project.
When requesting an invoice or equivalent document with NIF from the consumer, the economic operator/entrepreneur is obliged to declare such sales and enter them in the DNRE database and then extract them in the draw.
