Kathmandu, June 18. Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba agreed on seven points with CPN-UML president KP Sharma Oli and discussed it with party officials on Tuesday morning.

He informed about the agreement at a meeting held at his official residence, Budhanilkanth. The seven-point agreement was read out by Congress leaders participating in the talks with the UML.

Later, the leaders expressed their opinions. At that time, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda called Congress President Dub. According to an official, Prime Minister Prachanda, who is also the president of the Maoist Center, asked Deuba what happened on the phone.

According to Baluwatar sources, before calling Deuba, Prachanda met UML president KP Sharma Oli. In that meeting, Oli said, “Deubaji said that to form a government of national consensus, you have to help too”.

Prachanda called Deuba as Oli did not give any clarity on what the agreement was.

A Congress leader said Deuba responded by saying, “We have reached an agreement with the UML to form the government, now go away”.
