Creative Circle, a non-profit organization for the advertising industry, announced the event dates in collaboration with Ster Kinekor, an official representative of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Carl Willoughby, Chairman of the Creative Circle, looks forward to driving home the theme of “New Heights of Creativity and Courage”, which is also the theme of the judging and work at this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Relevant to creatives, marketers and business leaders
The sessions will unearth and interpret the best of this year’s global winning campaigns, trends and key learnings. “This is not just relevant for creatives,” Willoughby said, “but for marketers, business leaders and anyone who has a vested interest in current best practices and effectiveness.”
This year, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity received 26,753 entries, of which only 10% made it to the shortlist stage.
“We are seeing less and less ‘good intentions’ and more product truth, with humour being fully reflected in the winning entries.
Willoughby added: “It’s also interesting to see how brands continue to allow their fans to use their brand assets.”
Communication and dialogue
“Networking and conversation are an important part of our ‘all-in’ events,” Willoughby said, “so afternoon sessions extend into the evening and there is a cash bar.”
Tickets cost R370 each and can be booked via: Online Ticketing.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to various creative circles Initiatives Includes Blackboard, Open Chair and Bursary programs.
The main purpose of the Creative Circle is to “inspire transformation of products, people and ideas through the power of ideas.” Many thanks to Vodacom World Events for providing the venue.
