“More than 400 firefighters from Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and South Africa are heading to Canada to help our teams battle the wildfires in Alberta,” the Canadian prime minister wrote on the X platform.

In mid-July, wildfires raging in northern Alberta, Canada, forced authorities to order the evacuation of three communities. During the same period, more than 350 fires were burning simultaneously in neighboring British Columbia.
