French President Emmanuel Macron expressed “outrage” on Sunday over the “discovery”Six hostages killed by Hamas in Gaza”, demanding “stop the war”.

“There is gunfire and anger after the discovery of six hostages killed by Hamas in Gaza. My thoughts are with their families and loved ones. There is an urgent need for a ceasefire and the release of all hostages, including our compatriots Ohad Yahalomi and Ofer Calderon,” the French head of state said through X. “The war must stop,” he added.

Israeli armed forces announced on Sunday that they had found the bodies of six hostages in the Gaza Strip. According to the Israeli Ministry of Health, autopsies showed that they were shot almost “due to contact” between “Thursday and Friday morning.”
