The Borneo Gazette Yearbook (BBYB) celebrated the milestone of its 30th anniversary on 30 August 2023.
Datuk Seri Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liu Ben Abdullah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, attended the Grand Serambi Batil Hall in Dadeseni, Tallinn as the chief guest.
Published annually by Brunei Press Sdn Bhd, BBYB is the definitive guide to Brunei, and its comprehensive content makes it a highly sought-after publication. In his welcome speech, General Manager Anafiah binti Omar highlighted BBYB’s extraordinary journey over the past three decades.
“It has transformed from an initial focus on tourism to becoming a key resource for the business and investment community, fostering valuable connections and partnerships,” she said.
The ceremony also issued certificates of appreciation to 23 companies and organizations that have supported BBYB over the years.
