The salt in the seawater can further dry out your hair and cause it to break. Hair that has just been dyed or cut is more sensitive and susceptible to damage from salt, which can cause dryness, breakage, and loss of shine.

Chemicals and chlorine damage the proteins in your hair

Hair dyes contain chemicals that can weaken the hair structure. These chemicals combined with sea salt and UV rays can further damage your hair.
