A Secretary of State for Culture and Tourism of the State Government of Minas Gerais Release Notice Aldair White for”Comic Publishing“.
Federal Law 14,017/2020, the Aldir Blanc Law, has as its core the objective of providing emergency assistance to artists, groups and companies working in the cultural sector and experiencing financial difficulties during the pandemic.
In memory of composer and writer Aldir Blanc, a Covid-19 victim who died in May, the project aims to help professionals and spaces in the region who have been forced to pause their work during social isolation.
You can register as an individual, on your own or as a group in the following publication areas: Comics, comic strips, cartoons, or comic stripsunpublished work or collection previously published in digital media.
Please note that the registration deadline is short until the day November 17, 2012.
The publication must have at least 36 pagesIf the content is 4×4 color, at least 28 pages. The minimum circulation is 500 copies.
For a presentation, you must send a story synopsis, at least two pages with details of the finished artwork and magazine format.
Available R$450,000which will be distributed to 30 projects Not the total value R$15,000 Each item is subject to tax. Those who are approved have 60 days to print the magazine. After execution, there is another 30 days to deliver an accountability report.
The notification targets artists who live in Minas Gerais and have at least one year of experience in the region.
