The proposal successfully captured the attention and enthusiasm of parishioners, who resonated with the new form of worship.

Father Romero explained that his main goal is to bring young people closer to the Church, using one of the most popular music genres today. “The Church must innovate and adapt to new rhythms to merge with reality. We are not here to impose, but to adapt to the culture and spread the Gospel from there,” commented the priest.

The initiative has been well received by the community, especially the youth, who feel more identified and motivated to participate in religious activities. The Kumbia masses have successfully created a festive and spiritual atmosphere, combining religious traditions with contemporary musical tastes.

Father Romero hopes the initiative will inspire other parishes to find creative ways to connect with parishioners and strengthen faith through innovative means.
