The Guyana Police Force said today that following allegations of financial impropriety levelled against Deputy Commissioner Calvin Brutus on social media and in “reputable media”, he has requested permission to commence his annual leave immediately to allow for investigations to be conducted in the best interest of the Guyana Police Force.
The permission has been issued by the Commissioner of Police in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
