The fellowship program provides an opportunity for young professionals from the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) countries to gain hands-on training on legal, policy and scientific issues and to build lasting capacity for AOSIS member governments to engage on climate change, oceans and sustainable development.

- Cover letter from the applicant
- Applicant’s resume and
- A 2-3 page writing sample from the applicant, answering the following questions.
- What unique background, experience or expertise will you bring to the AOSIS Scholarship Program?
- What would you like to do after this project to continue supporting your government’s engagement on climate change, environmental protection, sustainable development and oceans?

- Public Service Office A panel will visit and review all applications and only one application will be submitted that meets all AOSIS criteria.
