The sixth novel by the renowned journalist, sociologist and author Carlos Martini is of a special nature.
“That October Night” This work was co-authored by Carlos Martini and his sister, Anna Martiniwriter, manager and cultural consultant. Although they share the same bloodline and love of culture, the two present different personalities, which adds a unique richness to the narrative.

In a recent interview with Caritas Radio, Carlos enthused: “This is my best novel!” The story is based on real events that happened to the Martini family. In October 1975, Carlos’ mother and sister Fátima heard strange noises in their home, which no one else could detect except them, not even the dog reacted to, and they described them as “machine guns in front of the house”..
Carlos started writing the novel but was unable to continue due to an accident. Realizing his situation, he asked Ana to take control of the story. Surprisingly, Carlos still doesn’t know how the work will end, as he has decided to read it only after its official launch in London tonight, July 2. Asuncion International Book Fair (FIL) 2024.
