The first management system and ISO certified institute

Audit Services & Certification (AS&C), an international certification body based in San Marino and qualified to issue ISO certifications, is preparing for comprehensive training opportunities in 2024-2025.

Building on the success of the past two years, the organization has expanded its offering of professional courses through the AS&C Academy to meet the growing demand for professional training in the international certification field.

AS&C’s journey in the field of training began on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2022: the organization provided a free ISO 9001 Internal Auditor course to 10 female entrepreneurs and quality representatives, a first step that laid the foundation for the development of a broader and more structured training program.

In 2023, the Academy was officially launched, offering complete courses for auditors and lead auditors on the most requested management systems: ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), ISO 45001 (Occupational Safety) and ISO 27001 (Information Security). The response was enthusiastic, with a participation of about 40 people and a significant increase in enquiries. This success has led the organization to obtain training accreditation from the international certification body BMQR-IPC, thus guaranteeing greater recognition of the courses offered.

The quality of the AS&C training courses is reflected in the positive reviews of all participants, which can be seen on Google. Among the most appreciated factors, the competence of the teachers stands out, all of whom have undergone hundreds of audits, and transversal skills, such as Dr. Michela Arezzini, who enriches the courses with her background in coaching and pedagogy.

Simone Bacci, a key figure in the course’s organization, emphasizes that “our goal is to provide high-level training through cutting-edge teaching methods. The synchronous online mode, coupled with innovative software tools, creates a dynamic and engaging learning environment. We focus on interactivity and gamification as strategic levers to maintain the participants’ high level of attention, a key challenge in a digital age where attention spans are increasingly fleeting.”

Another strong point of AS&C Academy is the choice to limit class sizes to a maximum of 10 people. This strategic decision allows us to guarantee an optimal training experience, providing a high level of interaction and attention to each student, and giving them the opportunity to get to know each other and develop a network.

Looking ahead, AS&C has planned a series of courses in the field of quality, environment and work safety for October to December 2024. These courses are aimed at a wide range of professionals: from company employees to consultants to young graduates and undergraduates who want to pursue a career in this field where professionals are increasingly needed.
