A pilgrimage of peace in the footsteps of San Marino – August 31

San Marino and the Republic Day – September 3

The Republic of San Marino celebrates its anniversary with a rich program combining tradition, music and performances. On Tuesday, September 3, the long-awaited public holiday will begin in the early morning with a series of institutional events, starting with a solemn mass in the Basilica at 10 a.m. In the afternoon, the festival takes on a more popular character with the Palio delle Balestre Grandi at 3.30 p.m. in Cava dei Balestrieri, followed by a concert of the Military Band of the Republic of San Marino at 5.30 p.m. in Piazza della Libertà, conducted by Maestro Stefano Gatta in the presence of the best Regent Captains. Then, at 7 p.m., the traditional Grande Tombola concert will take place in Piazzale Lo Stradone, followed by a concert by Luca Barbarossa & Social Band at 9.30 p.m. in Campo Bruno Reffi. Finally, the sky will be lit up with a magnificent display of fireworks, bringing the celebrations to a close.

In case of bad weather, the Military Band Concert and the Tombola Draw will be postponed to Sunday, September 8, at the same place and time; the Luca Barbarossa and Social Band Concert will take place at the New Theater in Dogana.

Artist EDUARDO KOBRA solo exhibition – until September 3
