TENNESSEE (LPL) – Tennessee State Parks has announced the addition of several all-terrain wheelchairs for charter, which visitors will be able to use free of charge.
The new team of 10 chairs is the product of a partnership between the state agency and Sunrise Medical, a local company based in the St. Juliet, Tennessee community.
Parks equipped with the new all-terrain wheelchairs include:
—Lebanon State Park
— Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park
— David Crockett State Park
— Fall Creek Falls State Park
— Fort Pillow State Historic Park
— Harrison Bay State Park
— Indian Hills State Park
— Miman-Shelby Forest State Park
— Nathan Bedford Woods State Park
— Sgt. Alvin C. York State Historic Park
With the addition of these ten parks that offer all-terrain wheelchair services, the total number of parks that now offer all-terrain wheelchairs has reached 22.
