Kathmandu. Singer Sushant KC is all set to perform in New York, USA. He will mesmerize the audience with his famous songs at the “Sushant Casey New York World Tour” to be held at Platinum in Times Square, New York on July 20 (i.e. July 5).
For the first time, a concert by Nepali artistes will be held at the venue, which has previously hosted only Hollywood and Bollywood artistes.
The event, which will feature live music performances by 11 band members including Sushant, is being organized by Leylin Kandel, Jimmy Gurung and Roshan Gauchan on behalf of the New York Tamil section.
One of the organizers, Relin Khandel, said Nepali singers can also perform at the same venue and level as Hollywood and Bollywood singers, introducing Nepali songs and music to the international stage.
It is said that only audience members above 16 years old will be able to attend the show. After New York, Sushant will also perform in 11 other places in the United States.
Sushant’s songs like ‘Sarangi’, ‘Nizik Aau’, ‘Ghazalu’, ‘Hawale’, ‘Beimani’, ‘Bharibhari Din’, ‘Bhangera’, ‘Ma Tuke Man Paraydu’ etc are particularly popular among the youth.
