“We have also reached out to members of the House and Senate to voice our concerns and of course shared those concerns with the White House and the administration,” Ballou-Aares added. “We know we can’t drive this decision alone, but we believe it is our obligation to this country, frankly, to add our voices and encourage others to step up and recognize the risks and the severity of the situation.”
