The Legislative Assembly of Emilia-Romagna yesterday approved the Aerospace Framework Agreement between the Republic of San Marino and the Emilia-Romagna Region, signed on May 27 in Bologna by Secretary of State Fabio Riggi and the Regional Councillor for Economic Development Vincenzo Colla.
Strengthen cooperation and promote the development of the aerospace sector, in particular the space economy and the commercial and research systems of the Republics of Emilia-Romagna and San Marino. Promote networks between companies to foster economies of scale and synergies, helping to promote a strong and developed ecosystem. This is linked to the form of coordination between the multi-year economic development plans of the two regions.
In order to define separate activities and coordination, a dedicated standing desk is envisaged, which can now meet upon approval by the General Assembly.
The news was positively reviewed in the media by regional politicians from all parties, suggesting that the agreement could become an important boost to the country’s economy and the activity of San Marino entrepreneurs.
