The leadership of the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliament, Dragan Miokovic, and vice-presidents Mladen Boškovic and Edin Gaber, received Ambassador John Sattler, head of the European Union Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the EU Special Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and colleagues Elizabeth Tomasinek and Sanja Stanojevic, who were on a working visit.
The leadership of the House of Representatives, headed by the newly elected Speaker Mioković, thanked the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina for its selfless support and reminded that additional efforts will be made in various processes of the European integration process.
The meeting discussed the work of the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliament, legislative priorities in the field of rule of law and the reform agenda for the Western Balkans.
The EU Delegation, led by Ambassador Sattler, explicitly supports the leadership role of the House of Representatives in all processes aimed at finalizing the appointments necessary for the work and operations of the institution, as well as of the Federation of Public Broadcasting in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ambassador Sattler and the leaders of the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina stressed the importance of stable functioning of the House of Representatives in order to fully contribute to the development of the Federation and emphasized the announcement of the Cabinet of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is committed to implementing legislative activities on socio-economic reforms.
