large2024-2025 is the third year under the new academic calendar. Students of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation return earlier and finish later. Their summer vacation is shortened by two weeks, but the autumn and carnival holidays are extended.
Specifically, the school calendar that will be implemented from September 2022 consists of 6 to 8 weeks of classes, interspersed with two weeks of holidays. This reform will therefore bring a more regular rhythm and a better distribution of holidays. This is better for the psychological health of students.
