Dr Roshan Boodhoo was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Commission (FSC) on Tuesday, June 25. This was a decision taken by the FSC Board in consultation with the Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance Sunil Bholah, in accordance with Section 9 of the Financial Services Act.
The position had been vacant since Vikash Thakoor left in March and his contract was not renewed. The latter returned to his position at Bank of Mauritius. As for Roshan Boodhoo, he will officially take up his new position Role Tomorrow, Wednesday 26 June. Please note that he remains the Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer to this day. Shibang Group.
