Kathmandu, June 4. Member of Parliament Ramhari Khatiwada objects to the budget of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure being concentrated on Dhanusha and its two constituencies.

While participating in the discussion of the appropriation bill for the next fiscal year in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, MP Khatiwada sarcastically said that the $8 billion Dhanusha had been passed by the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and the remaining budget should also be there.

He complained that he did not even meet Minister Mahasese when he tried to ask for the budget for the vital road in Ohadurga.

Khatiwada said that the budget of the Physics Department was 15 days late and Janakpur was in the spotlight, the minister mentioned that the budget had been poured into his constituencies Dhanusha 4 and Dhanusha 3. Dhanusha 3 is the constituency from which Mahaseth’s wife Julikumari Mahato was elected.

“If this is not enough, then give the budget of all the remaining areas out of 165 constituencies to these two districts,” he said, pulling out a five-rupee note. “I found this not enough, so I thought adding five rupees would not reduce the expenditure.”

Khatiwada left Rs. 5 at Rostam at the end of his speech.
