Prince William won’t let his children go through the same ‘trauma’ he went through

Prince William would not let his children go through the same ordeal he went through.

As he and his brother Prince Harry witnessed their parents’ difficult marriage, divorce and the death of their mother, Princess Diana, they were banned from watching television while attending Ludgrove boarding school because the media was always full of controversy surrounding the royal family.

Later, when Prince Harry’s relationship with Prince William became distant, William had to shoulder the burden of living up to the expectations of his father, King Charles, since he also happened to be next in line to the throne.

Body language expert Judi James says whatever pressure the Prince of Wales may be under, the pose the future king chose for a new Father’s Day photo shows he is determined to give his children a very different life to the one he grew up with.

“The contrast between the pose William chose to express his own feelings about his father and the pose he chose to celebrate the role his father played in his life shows that, while he admired his father’s upbringing, he was determined to create something different for his children,” she told Mirror.

Judy added: “William continues to demonstrate how he is using the lessons of the past to create what he sees as a more modern, ideal family. His understanding of duty and loyalty seems profound, but he is also clearly determined to create a more casual, more playful life for his children than either he or his father were allowed to enjoy.”
