Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don’t want to “repeat their parents’ mistakes” and have made major vows to each other regarding their marriage, according to a source.
The Montecito-based couple stepped down from their senior royal roles in 2020 and have since lived in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
A source told New Magazine that growing up, Harry and Meghan “hated having separate parents who didn’t have a good relationship” because they felt they were being pulled in different directions.
“They swear divorce is not an option, especially when their children are so young and they are responsible for shaping their lives,” the source revealed.
They added: “They would never want Archie and Lily to go through this and they want them to have as idyllic and innocent a childhood as possible.”
