About 30 people were trapped in the air while riding an amusement ride in Oregon, USA.
They had to maintain this position for at least ten minutes at Oaks Amusement Park in Portland, on the west coast of the United States, on Friday afternoon (local time), the OPB portal reported.

Rescuers from the Portland Fire Department initially considered using ropes to extract people from the seats on the circular “Atmos Fear” ride. But ultimately, emergency services were able to manually lower the conveyor belt to the ground, as the fire department wrote in a post on the X platform. There were no serious injuries — no further details were provided, other than to say they were able to receive medical checks after being rescued. It’s not clear why the ride got stuck.
