X owner Elon Musk was furious about the Brazilian ban.
Brazilian judge Alexandre de Morais criticized the Brazilian Supreme Court judge Alexandre de Morais for ordering the ban of the social network.
Judge Morais issued the order on the grounds that Platform X contained illegal content. Violations of the order could result in fines of $20,000 per day.
Musk criticized Judge Morais on his X account. The order violated the Brazilian constitution. Musk also suggested Brazilians use a VPN to use X.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva backed Judge Morais’ decision and said such social media platforms should be regulated.
