A man has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a child in the city.
The man was arrested on August 27 on a court order in connection with the case.
Police spokesperson Ahmed Shifan told Andhulive that a Dhruvi man has been arrested and remanded for five days. The case is under further investigation.
The police consider the case involving children to be of a serious nature. Therefore, in order to protect the dignity of the child, the police will not disclose the child’s name, nor the village or province where the child is located or the village or province where the case was filed.
