A man has died after a train collided with a work vehicle in Gallivale, police wrote on their website.
The accident occurred at an unattended railway crossing at 08:00 on Wednesday. The deceased was in a wheel loader work vehicle, wrote Ministry of National Development.
Police are investigating the incident, which they say resulted in the death of another person, as being related to a workplace incident. No one has been served in connection with the alleged crime.
Relatives are a vulnerable group.
