Luka Modric has extended his contract with Real Madrid for another year. The 38-year-old Croatian will play for the Real Madrid until 2025. Messi strains ligament
Messi will be out indefinitely due to a ligament injury in his right ankle. His club Inter Miami announced the news after a medical examination. Therefore, the 37-year-old captain’s availability will depend on regular examinations and the progress of his rehabilitation. Messi was injured during Argentina’s 1-0 victory over Colombia in the Copa America final.
Mexico sacks coach Lozano
Mexico is looking for a new national coach two years before the World Cup on home soil. The Mexican Football Federation announced that Jaime Lozano was released immediately after the Copa America qualifiers. As a result, Lozano rejected a contract under which he would work under an “experienced coach” until the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by Mexico, the United States and Canada, and then be promoted to national team coach after the tournament.
