A Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) bus driver was stabbed by a truck driver in a road rage incident in Nelamangala on Friday morning.
According to the police, the suspect was identified as Bhaskar Reddy, 32, from Madanayakanahalli. The attacker has been arrested by the police.
Meanwhile, the injured bus driver, 40-year-old Shivappa Madiwala, is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Tumakuru.
According to police, the altercation took place when the bus, which was travelling from Kalyanakoppal in Karnataka, was travelling near Dobhpet when Reddy tried to overtake the bus, leading to the clash.
The Dobshpet police have registered a case and Reddy is in judicial custody.
