The reason the roads are such a mess is a complete policy failure by the transportation/roads department. They do not compact the road surface adequately, causing it to crack and peel prematurely. Secondly, the roads department does not do the necessary compaction tests or follow up on utility excavations, causing collapse throughout the city. This is another huge policy failure and a huge safety issue motorcycle/ Cyclists and vehicles. Horrible!

Not welcome here
So, rumor has it that Justin Trudeau is heading to Calgary for the Calgary Stampede to bless us. No thanks. Where is Danielle Smith? This unpopular guy who punishes Canadians is not welcome here. Trudeau is persona non grata in Alberta, the land of the free. Trudeau should stay in Eastern Canada with his fans.

Simple solution
Here’s the solution to the homeless on CTrains. Restore all of the extra cars on those unused four-car trains and use only those extra cars to house the homeless so they have their own car and don’t bother other passengers. That way they can go on their sightseeing trip without bothering paying passengers. They could even remove some of the seats so the homeless can lie down and rest.

Yes or No Questions
Apparently, Mayor (Jyoti) Gondek and Councilman (Gian-Carlo) Carra have no idea about City Council etiquette. Councilman (Dan) McLean asked the City COO a yes or no question regarding federal funds received and whether voting no on the rezoning would impact receiving those funds. Instead of allowing the staff to answer the question, both Gondek and Carra spoke out of turn in an attempt to silence his response. Councilman McLean should have insisted that the COO answer the question instead of these two ignorant individuals.
