Libreville, Thursday, August 8, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The main purpose of the day’s meeting with the Head of State was to present the equipment delivered to the defence and security forces on August 7, 2024 in Libreville.
The transitional president handed over the rolling stock to the head of the security forces of the battalion Captain Charles Ntchoréré, and later met with a delegation from China North Industries Corporation led by Vice President Xu Hongyu.
If this meeting allowed Xu Hongyu and his delegation to present to the head of state the characteristics of the rolling tools and logistical tactical equipment delivered to the National Defense and Security Forces of the Captain Charles Njorere Battalion, it was also an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with the Gabonese state.
To this end, they expressed their desire to expand their partnership with Gabon through cooperation agreements in the fields of oil, mining and civil engineering.
China North Industries Corporation (Norinco) is a Chinese state-owned defense company that produces commercial and military products and specializes in the sale of tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, weapons, and law enforcement equipment.
