A 35-year-old fruit vendor living in Roche-Bois had a hard time on the night of July 3. He thought a lot and finally decided to report the case to the Roche-Bois police station on Tuesday. The investigation is ongoing and arrests are imminent.
According to the 30-year-old man, he was sleeping at around 11:30 pm on July 3 when a local man entered his house through an open window. Four other men followed him, all armed with swords, sticks and other objects. They allegedly beat him several times, injuring his feet, hands and mouth. The five men then allegedly forced him into a Toyota car and drove towards Jinfei.
There, one of them called a woman and told her: “I promise you, now he will stop speaking to you and your children.” The attackers beat the fruit vendor again and took him home. Once at his house, they searched his valuables, including his mobile phone, music equipment, a pair of spectacles and a perfume, worth Rs 40,000.
