Fatal accident at New Brunickel Bridge: Jervis Philokin will not be able to see his one-and-a-half-year-old child grow up

The funeral of Jevis Cliff Junior Philgène, 30, was held yesterday, Friday, after he was killed on Thursday evening on the Neue Bruniquel Bridge in Baie-du-Thomme when he collided with a private car while riding a motorcycle. The driver of the car did not stop after the accident. Emergency medical assistance services took the injured man to hospital, but he died.

Central Water Authority (CWA) director general Prakash Maunthrooa must have felt very lonely during the Q&A session if he had called all the top executives to face reporters at a press conference yesterday. Meanwhile, widows, the sick and orphans also received a large amount of allowances, totaling Rs 629.7 million that month.
